Carín León continues to solidify his place as one of the biggest names in Latin music, and now he is adding another historic milestone to his career. The Mexican superstar will headline the very first official concert at Nu Stadium, the new state-of-the-art home of Inter Miami CF located inside Miami Freedom Park.
The concert is scheduled for June 28, officially making Carín León the first artist to perform at the brand-new venue in South Florida.
Miami and Carín León Continue Building a Strong Connection
The announcement arrives during one of the most important moments of León’s career. The singer recently won a Grammy Award for Best Música Mexicana Album and continues expanding the global reach of regional Mexican music.
Speaking about the event, Carín León highlighted the cultural importance of Miami:
“Miami has always been very important to me. It’s a place where people come together, where music converges and cultural movements are created.”
His selection as the opening act feels intentional. Over the past few years, Miami has become one of the biggest cultural and entertainment hubs for Latin music, perfectly aligning with León’s musical identity and crossover appeal.

Regional Mexican Music Keeps Expanding Worldwide
Carín León’s rise also reflects the global momentum surrounding Mexican music.
The Hermosillo-born artist has successfully taken regional Mexican sounds to stages that once seemed unreachable for the genre, including Coachella and the iconic Grand Ole Opry.
In 2025, he also made history by becoming the first Latin artist to headline the Sphere in Las Vegas, selling out seven consecutive shows.
A New Venue Designed for Major Entertainment Events
The concert will also serve as a major introduction for Nu Stadium, one of the centerpiece projects within Miami Freedom Park.
The venue is expected to become one of South Florida’s premier destinations for sports, concerts, and large-scale entertainment experiences.
According to Heron Sports & Entertainment representatives, launching the stadium with an artist like Carín León reflects the caliber of global events the venue aims to host moving forward.
Ticket Sales and Presales
Inter Miami season ticket holders will receive presale access on Thursday, March 26. General ticket sales start Friday, March 27 through Ticketmaster.
The concert marks the official opening of Nu Stadium and highlights the global growth of Mexican music on some of the world’s biggest entertainment stages.
